200MHz/1500V High Voltage Differential Probe

TR1215B high-voltage differential probes are suitable for all major oscilloscopes in the market, converting a floating signal to a low-voltage signal at the reference ground level, which can be safely and easily displayed by any reference ground level oscilloscope. The probe can be used at frequencies up to 200MHz for 1500V voltage signals and has high common-mode rejection, making it an excellent choice for non-georeferenced, floating, or isolated measurements. Angstrom oscilloscope differential probes are ideal for power testing, switching power supplies, inverters, motor drive control, switching power supply development, maintenance and evaluation.

High performance differential probe

Compared with the special interface probe, the BNC universal differential probe reduces the equipment cost by 75% and has a service life of 50000 times. Support 50:1/500:1 multi-gear attenuation, covering 1V communication signal to 1500V high voltage system, one machine to solve the power supply research and development, maintenance site multi-level test requirements.

Measuring advantages

n the debugging of 380V frequency converter, the differential probe synchronously measures the U-V-W three-phase drive signal of non-common ground, and the input impedance balance error is less than 0.5dB, thus preventing PE line short circuit caused by grounding clamp. The probe has built-in TVS overvoltage protection and sound and light alarm, which can protect the safety of the oscilloscope and the equipment under test even if the high-voltage bus is accidentally touched.

CMRR Common Mode Rejection Capability

The differential probe has a common mode rejection capability of ≥ 26dB @ 50MHz to isolate the coupling risk of a 1500V floating system to the oscilloscope during defibrillator development. Through IEC 61010 medical certification and BF insulation requirements, 80dB CMRR accurately analyzes μV ECG signals of ECG equipment, thus eliminating potential electric shock hazards in medical operations.

5MHz Bandwidth Limit

Equipped with 5MHz bandwidth limiting function, the probe bandwidth can be quickly locked to the 5MHz frequency band through a dedicated button. The design accurately matches the typical switching frequency of mainstream power devices (such as MOSFET/IGBT) in the switch mode power supply (SMPS). The 5MHz filter can effectively suppress high frequency noise, switching harmonics and interference components to ensure the purity of the measurement signal. This function significantly improves the accuracy of power supply noise analysis, loop stability testing and transient response characterization, helps engineers accurately capture fundamental wave characteristics in complex electromagnetic environments, and simplifies the power supply design verification and fault diagnosis process.

Rise time test

Configure the signal generator to output a 1MHz square wave signal with an amplitude of 2Vpp and a rise time of 600ps, and connect it to the input of a high-bandwidth differential probe via a 50Ω coaxial cable. Using the built-in 5MHz bandwidth limit function of the probe, it can effectively filter out high-frequency noise and switching harmonics, and accurately capture nanosecond edge characteristics. The test scheme is suitable for signal integrity verification of switching power supply, high-speed digital circuit and other scenarios.
