TR3031D

100A/3.5MHz AC/DC current probe

TR3031X series is the 1 universal oscilloscope current probe, compatible with more than 95% of oscilloscopes on the market, with a frequency response measurement range of 50mA to 100A (peak value) up to 5MHZ, and BNC output terminals. Connect an oscilloscope to accurately measure AC or DC current waveforms, with a selectable range on the handle panel; the current probe detects the current flowing through the conductor and converts it into a voltage that can be seen and measured on the oscilloscope. The current probe uses a hybrid technology including a Hall effect sensor (sensing DC current) and a current transformer (sensing AC current). The open design current probe is easy to connect and disconnect from the conductor, providing a DC to 5.5MHz measurement bandwidth.

C/DC dual-use

Standard BNC interface (50Ω/1MΩ impedance adaptive), without adapter, perfectly adapts to mainstream oscilloscopes such as Keysight 3000X series, Tektronix MDO3000 and Rhodes RTO2000. The 3.5MHz bandwidth captures transient traces such as motor start-stop surge and power ripple, which is several times higher than the details of traditional AC probes.

Double gear wide free switching

High sensitivity gear (100mV/A)7A RMS safety range: covers small current scenes such as consumer electronics and BMS chips, improving the accuracy by 90% compared with single-gear probe. High load gear (10mV/A) uses broadband Hall element to conquer industrial large current 100A peak load.

Humanized operation design

One-key automatic zero adjustment (AUTO ZERO) technology, removes temperature drift and magnetic saturation within 3 seconds, bid farewell to manual zero adjustment time-consuming, real-time monitoring status of dual indicator system-green light is always on and power supply is normal, red light flashes + buzzer warning overload risk, 11.8mm industrial clamp (compatible with motor cable/power bus), free of disassembly of straight clamp thick conductor, and suitable for 90% industrial scenes.

Dual mode power supply

USB adapter (5V/2A) and 9V dry battery are powered in dual mode, which completely solves the problem of power failure in field/high-altitude operations. Continuous operation in dry battery mode lasts for more than 480 minutes. Dual circuit isolation design, 90% mains noise suppression during USB power supply, and common mode interference elimination in dry battery mode.

Transient test

In scenarios such as power aging test and battery protection board verification, the surge current and reverse electromotive force at the moment of power failure can easily lead to device breakdown, TR3031D can accurately capture the transient waveform of μs current at the time of shutdown/simulation of sudden power failure.
