The Shanghai New Energy EMC and Power Supply Technology Conference has come to a successful conclusion recently. Centering on core challenges including EMC rectification for on-board power supplies, energy storage converters and BMS control boards, high-voltage power waveform testing and power reliability verification, the event brought together R&D engineers, testing specialists and industrial chain enterprises for in-depth discussions. Displaying a full lineup of EMI oscilloscope measurement probes and electronic testing instruments, Tronovo Instruments addressed the tough measurement challenges in new energy power supply R&D with professional testing solutions, and explored the practical application paths of domestic testing equipment together with peers across the industry.

As new energy power products keep evolving toward high voltage, high power and high integration, switching noise, common-mode interference, floating voltage and instantaneous heavy current have become the biggest obstacles to EMC rectification. Precise identification of interference sources and quantitative waveform analysis rely on professional measuring equipment tailored for high-voltage floating working conditions. Drawing on the comprehensive product portfolio shown on its official website emi.tronovo.com, Tronovo showcased a full range of products including differential probes, current probes, high-voltage probes, standard passive probes, temperature measuring instruments and supporting testing accessories at the conference, covering the whole measurement workflow of new energy power supplies from R&D debugging and preliminary EMC assessment to production-line reliability verification.

The core exhibits at the booth drew crowds of engineers for consultation. High-voltage differential probes support withstand voltages ranging from 700 V to 7000 V with bandwidths of 50 MHz to 200 MHz. Featuring high common-mode rejection ratio, they safely measure floating signals of switching power supplies and inverters and avoid short-circuit risks caused by oscilloscope grounding. High-frequency current probes cover measuring ranges from tiny milliamperes to hundreds of amperes. With ultra-fast response speed, they accurately capture instantaneous current waveforms of switching tubes and quickly locate sources of conducted interference. Matched high-voltage passive probes and multi-point temperature testers collect multi-dimensional data of voltage, current and temperature rise simultaneously, enabling one-stop EMI preliminary testing for power loops, MOSFETs and transformers. All probes comply with the IEC 61010 high-voltage safety standard, perfectly suited for R&D scenarios of new energy high-voltage electronic control systems, energy storage PCS and on-board OBC.

Our technical team engaged in thorough exchanges with attending engineers based on abundant practical EMC rectification cases for power supplies. We elaborated on the selection criteria for probes of different specifications, wiring and noise reduction skills for testing, as well as practical strategies to shorten the EMC rectification cycle with Tronovo measuring equipment, targeting common pain points such as common-mode noise troubleshooting, safe high-voltage floating measurement, capture of high-power current waveforms and synchronous multi-channel temperature rise testing.
