200A / 300KHz Current probe

The TR3032 is a general purpose oscilloscope current probe that is compatible with more than 95% of oscilloscopes on the market, with a frequency response measurement range of 50mA to 200A (peak) up to 300KHz and a BNC output terminal. Connect to an oscilloscope for accurate measurement of AC or DC current waveforms, and a three-position slide switch on the handle panel selects range and ON/OFF.

Universal wide measuring range

Suitable for any brand of oscilloscope, the flow probe can measure AC and DC, and is widely used in motor drives, inverters, switching power supplies, etc.; 70A/140A upper limit AC; 100A/200A upper limit DC.

Numerical measurement function

AC/DC measurement can be carried out with a multimeter. The complimentary BNC banana plug can be used to use the mV function file of the multimeter, which can be used to measure the voltage signal mV proportional to the current output of the current probe and the measured current. Make sure the correct function file, DC or AC, is selected on the instrument for the current probe.

Support dual power supply

Can use alkaline batteries (9V Neda 1604) or external power supply, the use of external power supply can avoid poor battery durability and major measurement errors. Use alkaline batteries to provide a lower noise floor.

Boot display and overload indicator

When the probe is turned on, the green indicator light will light up. When the measured value exceeds the range, the red overload indicator light will light up and flash continuously. At this time, it can be adjusted back to 10mV/A or the probe can be removed from the circuit.

Ways to improve current sensitivity-increase the measurement accuracy of small currents

The sensitivity of the current probe is increased several times by passing the measured wire through the jaw for several turns, for example: 10mV/A * 4 turns = 40mV/A.
